That’s crazy! It makes me wonder what’s going to happen with my back after I have surgery when I get pregnant… I’m going to have spinal fusion in two weeks where they’re putting cages and screws in my very lower back near my tailbone. It looks like the baby comes pretty close to that. I might be having a C section when I have a child =P

Ouch – good luck 🙁

Sounds like a c-section might be the answer!! All I know is when I had my son he was facing the front and I still had back labour throughout the entire labour…not fun!!!

You may not know the reason behind the video, but I really hope they had a sound medical reason for needing to scan that birth with an MRI machine (and didn’t just do it for entertainment purposes). The amount of radiation used in an MRI is extremely high, and to expose an adult, let alone a newborn, to that for recreational purposes would be very risky and irresponsible.

My guess is they did have a reason – and decided to record it at the same time.

MRI’s actually don’t use ionizing radiation, it is a separate technology. X-rays, CT scans, and ultrasounds use ionizing radiation. CT scans use the most radiation.

Wow! I can’t wait to get preggo now that the technology is so advanced I can probably see my childs personality through an ultrasound lol.

GAH!!! I wonder how many times the baby’s head began to come out, only to edge back in again!!! Ouch!

I’m kinda afraid to watch this….I think the more naive I am about childbirth the better!

That 1min video does not do “justice” to hours and hours of labour!! Lol! 😉
