You are so darn cute ! Here’s hoping the moon, cupcake, walking and stars all align for your sweet son to have a 9/1/12 birthday ……wishing and hoping and thinking and praying for you !
🙂 I read about these last summer and practically begged my parents to send them to me via FedEx. They did not oblige, so I made my own version. I also indulged in a lot of pineapple and eggplant parm during my 39th week. None of them did anything to start labor, but it was fun to try. Nothing like a few delicious treats as you await your precious bundle!
I better ask this question before your hands are full with the baby then – or maybe you’re in the process of getting there now!- did you read any books BEFORE conceiving? Like how to prepare your body/self and Matt’s body to conceive? I have heard, and it makes sense, that both partner’s life and diet have an effect on conception so just curious if you read up on anything before trying? Thanks!!!
I didn’t. I had a “we’ll cross that bridge when we get there” attitude about it and wanted to see how it went first I did do a bit of reading online just about the menstrual cycle and things, especially when I started charting
That’s too funny!! I tried just about everything near the end of my pregnancy because I wanted a natural birth and didn’t want to be induced! I had low amniotic fluid so my doctor told me that was a big possibility! My doula recommended black cohosh and we worked on my pressure points for 2 weeks before the due date! Not sure if it worked…my son was born on the exact due date!! Was worth a shot 😉
It is almost 48 hours, so maybe today is the BIG day!

Fingers crossed the cupcakes work their magic on you!
No matter how many times I have heard your voice over the years, I still giggle when I hear your southern accent 🙂
Hang in there, Kath!
Good Luck Kath!
