Sweet little Mazen 5 days old!!
You probably recall the famous striped onesies that Mazen lived in during his newborn days. They were SO soft, and of course I love stripes.
So imagine the tears I shed when my friend Gaby gave me some of her little boys clothes and I found out she had the 18 month version!!!
The colors are slightly off, but we knew we had to do a re-take of his newborn photos before he grows out of these! Here is our attempt…
And….the tooth-brushing shot!
Bloopers!
We absolutely could not get this shot…
Because Mazen thought we were making him nap and did NOT want to be in his crib!
Swaddling also did not go over well…
We three had a lot of fun doing this! Mazen loved rolling around on the blankets like it was “ni-night”
Funny + Adorable = Win!
Oh this these gave me a good laugh & a huge smile on my face! I LOVE the duck face one!!!
So so cute and funny! He’s such a little boy now, it’s been fun to follow along the journey 🙂
These are darling! My son is a month or so younger than Mazen and I love reading your updates so much.
SO sweet. I know it’s a cliche, but man does it go fast!
this just made my day!
looooooved this.
These are hilarious!!
My little one is turning one in a couple of weeks, I got a little teary thinking of his then and now’s!! Love the bloopers!
What a cute idea!!
These are precious! I am TTC and I love reading current (and old) BERF posts for inspiration and encouragement.
Beautiful!
Oh my goodness! SO SWEET!
Those were great. Can’t wait to see the comparisons when he’s a teen. Ha!
Haha – we will find a way!
Mazen was a beautiful baby! I love his leg chunk as a toddler!
This is adorable! I LOVE the swaddle ones, haha! Great idea.
The toothbrush picture kills me!
These are amazing!! I especially love the ones with Matt because he’s wearing the same shirt too you can really tell the changes. Our second son turned 3 weeks old today and our oldest is 20 months (about 3 weeks older than Mazen). I love the changes. We talk all the time about how tiny our newest one seems and how huge our toddler suddenly appears. It’s funny to see the same kid show the changes between the two ages (they grow up so fast!!)
Absolutely adorable – very, very handsome!
The toothbrushing shot and the bloopers cracked me up. I bet that was a lot of fun taking them. 🙂 Mazen is changing so fast.
Do you know what his height and weight percentiles are for his age? He’s a big boy (NOT saying he is fat here…just saying he’s a healthy, big toddler!).
I do – he’s in the 90th for weight and 40% for height. His doctor says he’s doing great : )
Good to hear he’s doing well! He certainly is adorable!
Unless someone is planning to buy clothes for a baby/toddler/kid, I see no reason why weight, height, percentiles, etc. are part of the dialogue. My 2 cents.
This is an adorable photo shoot. Goes so fast (I have 3 children and my baby (and first girl is almost 11 months). As much as the baby and toddler stage are great–there is SO much to look forward to as Mazen gets bigger. My 7 year old and 4 year old crack me up on a daily basis. Keep on keeping on being a great mama to Mazen and giving us all glimpses into one way to do it!
Kath this is such a cute idea. I love that Mazen looks so different but so much the same too. What a cutie. Great Talent to Matt too, Im sure that the toothbrush shoot was a little bit harder this time with a wiggly toddler. All of them still cute.
Awwwwwwww! I can only imagine trying to do this with my 2 year old. He would make all the same faces mazen is! I can completely hear what he’s thinking in my head. “Dad WHY are you putting me on the counter all weirdly like this?! Pick me back up!”
He is just adorable, and you can really see his personality in the present-day pics! It goes by so fast!
haha so cute and funny! Quite a pumpkin u got there! They get so big so fast LOL!
My grandson has those onesies…we had the newborn versions, and loved them so much. The Carter’s store had them up to 24 months, so we bought a set of each size 🙂
I love this photo shoot, so cute!!
This is great…I’m going to do the same blog post!!!! I LOVE the idea of the “then and now” pics of your son. Don’t worry…I’ll give you full credit ;-)))
This really cracked me up and made me smile. I feel ya, as my little girl is about to turn 3!!! And little boy is fast approaching his first birthday, they suddenly both seem so big! Thanks for the sharing this super fun flashback photo shoot!
L O V E! wish I had done this!!
These are adorable. I love that you did this. What a fun idea!
HA! This is HILARIOUS – my daughter is just a few months older than Mazen and man – do I love squeezing those thighs 🙂
Awwww! That was adorable and made me laugh! 🙂
So funny, I’m sure he enjoyed that photo shoot just as much as Mum and Dad did!
